Captain Adrian Jones

Adrian Jones was born in 1845 in London, England. He studied at the Royal Veterinary College and then joined the army. He served with the Royal Horse Artillery, hence his excellent depiction and understanding of the animal form. He was a painter and sculptor primarily of horses. He was active in London where he exhibited paintings at the Royal Academy and Grosvenor Gallery.
