Walter Wallor Caffyn

He was a Landscape painter and lived in Dorking, Surrey. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1876-97 which period coincided with the height of the academy's power and influence. He also exhibited at the Royal Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street. He painted views in Surrey, Sussex and Yorkshire; and also painted landscapes for the angling painter H. L. Rolfe.
